Quran Factory Publisher

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 9, 2026

Quran Factory Publisher ("the tool") is a private, internal content-management application operated by Abdallah Khatatbeh ("we", "us"). It is used exclusively by our own team — a single operator — to prepare and publish our licensed Quran recitation videos to YouTube channels that we own and manage. The tool is not distributed to, and cannot be used by, any third party.

1. What data the tool accesses

The tool uses YouTube API Services. With the explicit OAuth consent of the channel owner or manager, it accesses:

  • The ability to upload videos and set thumbnails on our own channels (youtube.upload, youtube scopes).
  • Basic channel and video information for our own channels, in order to verify channel state and the processing status of our own uploads.
  • Analytics data of our own channels (yt-analytics.readonly scope), used solely to understand the performance of our own content.

The tool does not access, collect, or process data belonging to any third-party YouTube user. It does not track viewers, does not collect personal information from the public, and has no external users.

2. How data is stored and protected

  • OAuth tokens are stored encrypted on a single access-restricted local machine and are never shared, transmitted to third parties, or committed to source control.
  • API data (our own channels' video statuses and analytics) is stored in a private database accessible only to our team.
  • No data accessed through YouTube API Services is sold, shared, transferred, or disclosed to any third party.

3. Use of Google user data

The tool's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data obtained through YouTube API Services is used only to provide the tool's internal publishing and analytics functionality described above, and for no other purpose.

4. YouTube API Services

This tool uses YouTube API Services. By authorizing the tool, the channel owner also agrees to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

5. Data retention and revocation

  • Stored authorized data is refreshed or deleted in line with the YouTube API Services Developer Policies; data that is no longer needed is deleted.
  • Any channel owner can revoke the tool's access at any time via the Google security settings page: myaccount.google.com/permissions. Upon revocation, stored tokens for that channel are deleted.

6. Changes to this policy

If our use of YouTube API Services changes in any material way, this page will be updated and, where required, we will notify YouTube and request approval of the changed use case before continuing.
